What fascinated me from the first episode though was how they manage to craft such a powerful and meaningful show when there is almost nothing going on. &nbsp;YKWIM? I've been a fan right from day one, and have mixed feelings about it ending. I was In DC last month and almost died when I came across the cast on the sidewalk. We saw Jon Hamm, along with his fellow cast members John Slattery, Christina Hendricks, and creator Matthew Weiner. I later read that they were in town donating period props from the series to the Smithsonian. I got hooked on the show a few seasons back--and watched the first three seasons in reverse order! I love the style and the nuanced writing. The best shows are the ones in which not much happens on the surface, but there is a lot of pedaling going on below. My favorite episode, though, had to be when Roger ended up spending time with his daughter in the hippy enclave.
