I don't see that you need to use a Macy's credit card in order to get the discount. </p> <p>There are still some exclusions, but not nearly as many as their normally are with their regular coupons/sales. Reading the back of the coupon, it says that only one promo code can be used per transaction, and that the Friends &amp; Family code (FRIEND) is valid online from the 24th to the 30th - so online shoppers can start early if they want. </p> <p>As far as I can tell, you do *not* need to use a Macy's store card to get this discount. You just have to present a coupon in-store, or use the promo code: FRIEND online.</p> <p>eta: I recall that their regular coupons are usually only if you use your Macy's card - I remember this because I took my Mom shopping there, and in order to get the discount, with one of their regular coupons, we put her stuff on my card (she was visiting me from Canada). I mention this because this particular coupon/sale is "Take an extra 25% off Regular, Sale and Clearance" - and unlike the usual coupons you get for 15 or 20% off, during Macy's Friends &amp; Family sale, almost EVERYTHING is included. You know how it is when the regular coupons come out and you find that a bunch of stuff is excluded? This is not the case with Macy's Friends and Family Sale - so it's definitely worth it if you need some stuff for spring/summer etc. </p> <p>If you're not into going to the store and don't have a coupon you can use Promo Code: FRIEND on their site starting on the 25th. </p> <p>Enjoy </p>
