&#060;p&#062;Roberta, I think you’re right.&#060;/div&#062;&#060;div&#062;&#060;br /&#062;&#060;/div&#062;&#060;div&#062;&#060;br /&#062;&#060;/div&#062;&#060;div&#062;The big brouhaha in our area is the USPS is planning to close our sorting center and move it across the Sierra Nevada to California. &#038;nbsp;Well, in a recent Congressional hearing, the head of the postal service admitted he had no idea how many days the interstate was closed due to weather. &#038;nbsp;“Why would I?” &#038;nbsp;So deliveries will almost certainly take longer.&#060;/div&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Once the item is marked as shipped in the system, it is a nightmare to prove that it hasn't been received. How do you prove a negative? So it is up to the company to accept the customer's word for it.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Ugh! Not clothing, but we placed a custom order to Pella windows many months ago. Website says allow 4-6 weeks for notification the order was finished and ready to ship. Fair enough. 6 weeks on the nose, we were told it was finished and shipped. No tracking # provided, nor did they tell us which of the 2 warehouses (both within 75 miles to us) it came from. Weeks turned into months, we called both warehouses, gave them our order # as that was the only thing provided by the website. 4 MONTHS after it supposedly shipped, a kindly warehouse manager (we had spoken with several) located it in a neighboring state's warehouse! He offered to oversee shipping himself, but my husband drove the 150+ miles (each way) and picked it up himself! We needed it and had paid over $600, so we weren't inclined to just shrug it off, lol

It arrived three days later, so it could have just been a code error - but still…

&#060;p&#062;Cat2, things just happen, apparently. &#038;nbsp;My main takeaway here is that there is no way to talk to a person. &#038;nbsp;I could have gone to Macy’s yesterday, but I was too busy.&#060;/p&#062;

Something is happening between the warehouse and UPS, methinks. I was able to cancel both orders and took it as a sign that I didn't really need those things.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I placed an order with Macy's April 7th. &#038;nbsp;They split the order into two shipments. &#038;nbsp;I received one of the shipments three days later. &#038;nbsp;The other part of the order, a camp shirt and some underwear, is on a grand tour of the US. I tried to contact someone at Macy’s this morning. &#038;nbsp;I could not find a phone number on the website. &#038;nbsp;So a Chatbot engaged me in conversation, but didn’t understand a thing I asked. &#038;nbsp;Eventually, a possibly real person came on and offered me a refund. &#038;nbsp;Then she said but not for two more days, even though it’s been sixteen days since I ordered these items. &#038;nbsp;I’m afraid this is the future. &#038;nbsp;
