IMO, luxury items are for the purchaser/user, not to impress others. There's never a need to tell how much something cost or what brand it is unless someone specifically is seeking something like it. Next time there is a purchase you think others might be judgmental about, simply don't tell them where you purchased it or what you paid. A simple, "Oh, this? Isn't it wonderful? I got a great deal!" And that, apparently, would be true if you use it often.</p> <p>Right or wrong, people (including ourselves, if we are honest) judge others all the time. And my daughter benefited. LOL&nbsp; &nbsp;She's 18 now. But she had the MOST amazing cashmere sweaters and jumpers because of said friends. And when my kids were done...we passed them on. I saved a few for any grandkids.&nbsp; Most of the cashmere sweaters and wool coats are on&nbsp;their 5th or 6th baby.</p> <p>And being Portuguese, it was a tradition to get the absolute top notch for Easter and Christmas outfits. So my mother always went nuts in the Portuguese boutiques for my kids. I just felt like everything going on we didn't get to have a proper baby shower that I wanted to have something nice for her. The one I got her is super functional because it looks like a two piece jogger but its really just a one piece so she is very comfortable in it. Plus, it is 100% cashmere so it is very soft. And because the quality is so great I can dress it up or down, so I have used it quite a bit at this point. ...Why do I feel like I need to validate this.&nbsp;<br />Anyway, anyone else guilty of spending more on quality baby clothes for their little one?&nbsp; </p>
