You can switch to different magazines whenever you want or suspend your subscription. I think it's just month to month with no long term commitment. There is a small up charge for some magazines, I think InStyle might be one of them. But I agree with everyone who said the content became less substantial and it's more shopping focused than other fashion magazines. It's fun to flip through for cheap, though. Love me some People Style Watch! I finally renewed my subscription (I try to rotate my fashion magazine subscriptions from year to year) when they offered me a year for ten bucks. I gave Redbook a try when they mailed me an offer for a year for $5, but I won't be renewing. I don't like the new Redbook as much as the old. The old one always had great shopping finds and ideas for remixing clothes. The new version still has some great shopping finds, but not as much good fashion advice IMO. It's worth it for me - I get US magazine access outside of the US, saves me the weight in my luggage (mags are heavy!) and I get to explore other mags I wouldn't normally pay for (travel, photography, biking, HGTV mag,&nbsp;you name it). &nbsp;If you are remotely interested I would check it out. &nbsp;They add more all of the time, too, so I keep checking back and adding more. Lots of features on dressing for your shape, dressing on a budget, etc. they do still have a celebrity feature or two each issue, but then even Lucky usually does that. Worth picking up an issue in the store to see if you like it, maybe.</p> <p>I personally don't like reading magazines with lots of pictures and diagrams on my kindle, but if you have a fire you might be ok. Seems like the pictures etc. would be annoying in a smaller format. I've been a little disappointed, actually. It's not as dense as it used to be and I often finish an issue thinking 'is that it?' That said, it's not horrible and they do a decent job in translating the trends for 'regular gals'.</p> <p>Have you considered InStyle? A few years ago it was too celebrity focused imo, but I've gotten some recent issues from the newsstand and I think it's probably my favorite fashion magazine right now.
