They are a soft cotton linen blend, On line they have more colors, and also petites, but in the store I only found regular and not all colors in my size.&nbsp; so the regular are longer on me than the photo, but they are just loose enough to roll up, and at ankle length if not rolled up.&nbsp; I have been searching for inexpensive ones that do hot have spandex or any such in them.&nbsp; This type clothing, all cotton, linen, lyocel, etc. a necessity for summer.&nbsp;I also bought the olive.&nbsp; Retraining myself from getting the black on line, but I&nbsp;think I have enough pants, crops, and lengths other than shorts&nbsp;to get by thru out hot months.&nbsp; Our hottest months are usually thru October.&nbsp; </p>
