I know Marlene. My white Levis were slipping off me all day today. I used to think it had to do with spending less $ on jeans, but I don't think that's necessarily true. I recently went from a size 10 to an 8, and now I'm thinking I should start trying 6's in denim. I have never been a size 6 my entire life.

I just bought a pair of Lucky's at the Lucky store at my local mall. The sales guy said that they will stretch about a size. He said they should fit in the waist since that will not stretch. So I squeezed into 4's since the waist fit but the butt and thighs are snug. I have not worn them yet since they are a very new purchase so no verdict on the actual stretchy-ness of them in real life.

I swear every pair of jeans I have ever bought has stretched out beyond recognition. I am hoping that this new too-snug strategy will work out.

I love my dark wash straight leg Lucky's. In fact, I've nearly worn them out. No problem with bagging. However, the point is your daughter feels less than fab. She can return the jeans and try a new pair on in the Lucky store in University Village (east and just down the hill from the University of Washington). U Village has great shops so she should plan to spend a little time there.

There is also a Lucky's Brand Outlet store at the Tulalip outlet stores about an hour north of Seattle.

No skinny jeans at either location, unfortunately.

Lissy is spot on. Jeans should be a little snug when you purchase them. Luckys are fairly good quality. My guess is that your daughter has probably bought a size too big. Return them and try a smaller pair?

I do not have good experience with Lucky's fit so I have never purchased a pair of their jeans. I do know that jeans with stretch will absolutely stretch with wear, so it is a general rule that it is good for them to be a little tight when you purchase them.
I hope they work out, and if not, I hope she can return them and find her perfect pair of jeans.

They were having a girls get away in Portland when she bought them, and she lives closer to Seattle so she's not able to return them easily.
I hope after they are washed they will fit her better. She has waited a long time to splurge on a nice pair of jeans for herself and I just hope they work out for her.
I told her I'd ask on this forum if anyone else has experience with Lucky Brand so she might know what to expect.

Hmm...I don't have any experience with Lucky's, but I can say that if she doesn't feel fab in them, she will probably not wear them (that's what happens with me, anyway). Can you take them back?

I am asking this question for my daughter who just purchased a pair of Lucky brand jeans. She had her friends with her at the time and all of them said "Yes" to getting them. Now she is regretting it because they stretch out and she feels less then fab after a few hours. The sales person told her she thought the size was right for her. In fact they were at the Lucky Brand store in Portland, OR.
Do any of you have experience with this brand and do you like to wear this brand? Do they bag out on you?
