I can't change into jammies until bedtime. I change into two piece sweat suits in the fall/winter and a t-shirt and lighter weight sweatpants in the warmer months. I like the yoga pant idea and may have to look into this.

I don't wear lounge wear but will slip into my jammies after eight, I'm always dressed in my regular clothes by eight in the morning. I just don't feel fab in loungewear but I'm glad you have found a solution. I bet the postie will miss your jimjams.

Mo, the separate drawers are really helpful! I've done that with my closet too (separating the fancy stuff as well). I found that I kept getting off track when my clothes for very different events were all kept in the same spot.

I'm glad I read this just now as I was about to toss 2 cozy, but no longer up to par, sweaters in the donate pile. I'd much rather lounge in them as you gals have suggested because on occasion I do find myself still in PJ's at noon. Sometimes that's fun on a snowy day but for most days in, I'd like to up the notch a tad and put on real clothes, even if they are lounge only!

ETA: I have decided to make a separate drawer solely for loungewear, as I do my workout clothes, so I can make no mistake of mixing it in with regular clothing!

bella's loungwear sounds a lot like mine - long yoga pants (just for home - I wear capris for yoga classes), with 'demoted' sweaters in winter.

I don't feel frumpy or embarrassed and it's nice not needing to hide from the doorbell

My favorite loungewear is black yoga pants, a simple, white, fitted tshirt and a downgraded (from streetwear) cardi - cotton in the fall, wool when it's really cold in the winter. I also have a couple of cute hoodies. I feel pulled together but still comfy.

There is no way I could stay in my jammies all day long. My whole body would feel like mush. On a day that I need to "lounge" I opt for what you described.

I love my jammies.... Sometimes on the weekends I stay in them all day (if not leaving the house)
I prefer those matched long cotton pants with cute t-shirt.

I usually stay in my PJ's if stopping in for the day but it's rather chilly and to be honest it's a tad embarrasing opening the door to the postman at 1pm when still in PJ's!!!! On Monday while mooching in Primark I bought some mens (the womens were way too short) tracksuit bottoms £9 hoodie £8 and a couple of ts £2.50 each and wow the difference is amazing I have them on today and am lovely and snug and had no embarassement opening the door to the postman!!! I think i'm probably late catching onto this but for any others not yet on the loungewear bandwagon it's definately worth the pennies x
