Thank you so much ladies. This has been an ongoing quest and I will let you know how it comes out. Violet, I too have rolled waistbands and am sick of it! Great tip on Lulu Lemon, Shiny. I was hoping you'd chime in - as a fellow petite.

I am 5'0, so I can relate to this. Sometimes I will fold up the pants at the waistband instead since the bottoms cannot be folded.

I would also recommend Victoria's Secret. I was looking through their catalog a little while ago and noticed that they had short lengths for some of the yoga pants. I have never bought any, so I am not sure about the quality. Also, if you order from them try searching for VS coupon codes. Sometimes you can find free shipping codes, or percentages off your order, etc.

Left out Talbots Petites.. might be worth a shot. Although often their colors are just... wow, who would wear that???

You mean loungewear for sleeping and home, not running errands or exercising (i.e., gear), right? Because to my recollection, ATL offered sweat pants which isn't the same as loungewear.

If you're looking for something you can sleep in, try GAP. I'm only 5'0" and I wear the Gap XS supersoft pj's with no hemming necessary. The are perfect fit/length for me. Even the Small's aren't all that bad. (This is actually on my xmas wishlist, because our dryer mangled one of my favorite sleep camis).

If you're looking for gear (something you can wear outside the house), I agree it's disheartening ATL has nothing right now. Try:

- Ralph Lauren petites - for velour matching sweat suits that aren't too terribly bad and do have some stylishness (as stylish as you can get with velour sweat suits)

- Sutton studio petites at Bloomie's (never ordered them myself, so can't vouch... but that's what I might try)

- Victoria's secret (I *think* they have short lengths... if not, try on in the store first)

- LuLu Lemon - for yoga gear. They'll do the hemming for free.

- New Balance - for running gear.

Hard one. J Crew has lovely loungewear at the moment. Can you have the pants, shortened?

Hi Laura, I tend to buy my loungewear from VS because they have a good selection of shorter inseams. I've gotten yoga pants and sweatpants from them and they've held up very well. Their yoga pants are very comfy!!

~ Lori

Thanks ladies. I will try Penney's website. Maya, I don't think Gap makes their lounge stuff in petite or short length but I'll check on that too.

My last loungewear came from JCPennys, not a place I would normally shop. A trainer at Curves had such a cute outfit and said they had a huge selection. I'm not sure what they have now, but they did have lots of pieces, fabrics and styles in both regular and petite. You can get petite pants and regular tops (or viceversa) to match. Anyway you might give it a look.

There's nothing worse than tripping over your sweatpants. You can't roll them up and no way am I paying to hem them.

ATLoft used to carry loungewear in petites but not right now. (By loungewear, I mean sweatpant-type pants and maybe a zip-front jacket/hoodie). I looked at Angie's archived posts and found her suggestions on VS Pink and Gap etc. but they are from quite a while back.

Has anyone found any cute loungewear lately that might work for petites?
