Patience! Just get yourself a few sweet knitted empire cut dresses to lounge in. I have a client who does the same and it’s such a nice idea. These are expensive, but it’s for visual effect only. (Also, thanks for your support on my alternative blog post look today):

I've taken Angie's lead and go with the AE and VS loungewear.

However, now that it's the heat of summer *and* I'm pregnant, I'm really looking for a lounge wear dress-- when I'm lounging I don't want to deal with waist bands. It needs to be really luxe feeling knit and no tight elastic parts anywhere.

I'm the MOST unstylish in my lounge wear. I wear old, out-of-commission gear, mostly. I do have a few cute jockey and esprit PJs I scored for nothing at Sam's Club once. Everytime I change into lounge wear I hear Angie's voice in my ear "Lounge in style, lounge in style" :-D

I do make sure I'm dressed well when I'm expecting someone, or when we have guests over, but otherwise I'm a mess. DH on the other hand is very diligent about demoting worn out tees, polos and shirts into lounge wear and getting rid of the ratty stuff. At the very least to stop offending his sensibilities, I need to get in on some of that cute ON and VS stuff.

Love old navy and gap sleepwea too. As I get older my body temp. has def. gone up so have been searching for 100% cotton knit sleepwear and its not as plentiful as one would think. Yesterday at Sears picked up Hanes cool/dry PJ bottoms. I think these may be what I was looking for.

Old Navy yoga pants are the best. Then whatever jersey top I happened to be wearing that day or the day before (i.e. whatever is on top of the hamper).

I'm wear a lot of Jockey pj's, especially in the summer. Their cotton is so light and cute, and it lasts forever. ON gets too stretched out for me. I get it at the outlet and I have a Jockey club discount so it ends up being dirt cheap.

In the winter I wear mostly yoga pants and a long-sleeved t-shirt. Eddie Bauer has the most comfortable and thickest cotton for that, in tons of colors.

Shiny, I'm so glad you're feeling better. I don't know what kind of virus is going around but it sure did feel like the flu. I had a fever for three days and was wiped out. I got mine from my teenager. It was going around the high school.

The Gap jammies look great! They do look soft and comfy. I'm going to check them out the next time I'm at the outlets.

Aw, Debora, you've been sick too?? I saw my doc today (previously scheduled checkup) and he said it was too late to test me for swine flu (I was already mostly recovered) but it is going around.... along with lots of other crud!

I love Gap for pj's. They are soooo soft and comfy, and get softer with each wash. I wear the lounge pants and camis. But while sick, I was burning up and needed something even lighter... so DH gave me his cotton boxers and I wore those with H&M cotton cami's.

I stick to neutrals with the Gap sets, like brown and black, and then if someone rings the doorbell or we have company, I just throw over a matching hoodie, and it's like sweats but even comfier. I also like the Gap because my legs are short but somehow they fit without dragging on the ground (they may actually be capris but fit me just right - I don't know.... I get mine at the outlet when they have a sale).

What you want is the "Supersoft" - like this:

http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....pid=652022

They offer more options in the fall/winter.

I also have a few pairs of the lightweight cotton pants from Victoria's Secret. I pair them with basic Old Navy cotton tanks. These are great in the summer. I just don't like the loud patterns and bright colors as much. Maybe that's boring, but if I have to run outside for a second in the morning and my neighbors catch sight of me, the black or brown from far away looks more like sweats than jammies!!!

I was under the weather recently and lived in my Simply Vera Vera Wang (Kohl's) sleepwear for 3 days. I actually considered posting "What I wore when I thought I had Swine flu" during one of my more delirious moments. Thankfully, the Tylenol kicked in and you all were spared. :-)

I like the Vera Wang collection at Kohl's for sleepwear. It's cute, moderately priced and frequently on sale. I have my eye on something like this now for summer loungewear:

http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStor.....arates.jsp

or maybe this:

http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStor.....hemise.jsp

(The flu test came back negative, btw. I'm such a baby!)

That's where I usually head, too- Old Navy. Their stuff is comfy, reasonably priced and holds up decently. Their sweats are super comfy, and that's what I slept in most of the winter. Right now, I am sleeping in some draw string shorts and cami's with shelf bras- also from Old Navy. I sleep in my Old Navy tanks sometimes, too.

Old Navy is my go-to spot. I flat out refuse to spend money on loungewear. I have one terry loungesuit and one velour. Both of them serve me fine for opening the door and running out to get the mail. I will wear my old tshirts underneath (that I no longer wear because of the high necklines and the shabbyness). But they are fun tshirts from threadless, not sad ugly ones. If I didn't wear those, I would just get a few tanks from ON.

...not exactly fodder for the WYWT threads...

Still, it is an area worth considering and discussing. Personally, my lounge/sleepwear is STRUGGLY (struggling to be ugly), and hurtin' for certain!

Sooo...what are you lounging and sleeping in? What brands and styles are you loving right now? Where are you shopping for these outfits? Do tell!
