I haven't been that impressed with the Lou&Grey either. No alternatives to suggest, just commiserating

I have a t shirt from marks work warehouse that is super super soft, but wears like iron. Maybe try them?

Also I find French terry to be super comfortable but still hard wearing.

I've had a similar experience with the super-soft knit fabrics from Bobeau and Gibson (sold at Nordstrom). I think there's a certain kind of knit that feels ah-mazing but simply doesn't hold up. You can stretch the wear by hand washing and laying flat to dry, but that's such a pain for casualwear. Unfortunately I don't know of any other brands to suggest, besides others that have the same problem

Sigh. No. I feel the same way though so I commiserate.

So I love the fit and feel of the Lou& Grey Signaturesoft line, but it looks dull and pills up after not too many washes so that I wouldn't wear it out. I really like their midi skirts for comfort in the summer. Any recommendations on a better quality brand?
