&#060;p&#062;USPS has sent a sweater to Hawaii (lucky knit!), told me a package with a one-off vintage pendant was delivered (it wasn't, but it took them a few days to locate it and start getting it back to me), did something with a lipstick that required me to call/email -- the list goes on but all did get to me.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Kerry, good to know about the &#034;once per year&#034; limit. I had a month with a handful of thefts before I figured out a solution, but luckily each package was from a different store, and I got refunds on all of them. I was concerned a store would balk after the first one, which is maybe fair since in my case it's definitely theft after delivery. So eventually I got a mailbox at a local store (rather pricey).&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Once a pair of very nice LD Tuttle shoes was stolen and then showed up on ebay the next day (definitely the same pair). I reported that info to the store (Shoescribe, sadly departed subsidiary of Yoox), and they just gave me a refund. I don't know if they pursued the ebay thing. They're not based in the US and it might have been too much hassle.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I've had a package &#038;nbsp;misdelivered from Zara &#038;nbsp;-- they were extremely difficult to deal with but once I finally got to a supervisor, it was worked out. (I am sure it was a UPS issue).&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I've had some from BR &#060;b&#062;SAY&#060;/b&#062; delivered when it wasn't and it showed up the next day...and I've had one go completely missing, but that was at holiday time. BR is usually pretty good about dealing with it.&#038;nbsp;

Thought that was odd as they usually ring the doorbell or knock when dropping off a package and I hadn’t heard anything. Went downstairs - nothing! So I went two doors down my 258B vs their 256B and there was my package!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;BR once refunded my money when a package went missing but the second time it happened they said they would only do one claim a year and to take it up with my credit card company. Needless to say I haven’t ordered from them since.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Oh sorry this happened! This has happened to me only a couple of times over the last many, many years, and every time the merchant has replaced the items at no cost to me. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Delivery people can be very careless where I live. We have gotten packages meant for the building across the street, and even for a completely different address blocks and blocks away from us! Not to mention that delivery people rarely follow instructions on where to place packages (even when instructions come from their supervisors). &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;But I would have expected a better response from UPS once you reached out. I'd be curious how it turns out (and hope that everything is sorted out quickly!).

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Now, it's not the busy peak season but I have insider information (hubby works for them not as a driver ) that it's not uncommon for pressured drivers (and they are) to claim they delivered something when they didn't.&#038;nbsp; &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I once had another clotting factor shipment that they told the pharmacy no one was home. We were expecting it and there were 3 people home plus 2 dogs and it's a small house.&#038;nbsp; I called them and gave them hell and said it was medicine and they would not take it to a storage area for the weekend and they better redeliver now and they better knock loud. &#060;br /&#062;Hubby doubted this would work but it did.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;It's happened to me a couple of times in my neighborhood. One time the package was re-delivered two days later. I think someone must have returned it to UPS. The second time it showed up in less than a week. I suspect the post office delivered to the wrong address and when I contacted my mail lady, she seemed to track it down. The problem was that she was delivering to several houses before she would code for deliveries made, thus the error.

I hope BR will help me out, but they won't do anything until the predicted delivery date of February 20 (not sure why, but that's the policy). Hopefully it will turn up between now and then! 				<description>&#060;p&#062;I had this happen last year. They ended up delivering to my neighbor, even though I was home. I thought it was lost/stolen, so I called and reordered. Then I had an issue because I returned it, and I had to follow up several times to get both charges credited. Bummer.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I don’t think you need to be worried about being out the money though. I just suggest you check neighbors before calling, if you haven’t called them yet.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Contact BR ASAP. They will have more leverage with UPS. This has happened to me with Nordstrom a couple of times. Nordstrom rushed duplicates out to me. One time, the delivery person (USPS?) said the package was delivered at X time at Y place and it totally wasn't; it was delivered the following day. By that time, a dupe was already being rushed to me, and Nordstrom requires that you UPS/USPS the first set; you can't return it to a store.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Years ago, a holiday temp UPS worker lied about delivering my package. It was raining and dark when the person wrote that he/she/they delivered it. Packages in my neighborhood have not been subject to theft unlike a lot of other places. That evening, I happened to have run out to the supermarket and returned home shortly after the time the package was supposedly delivered. I have 44 steps to my front door, not something that workers (other than my special UPS guy Rand!) are willing to do toward the end of their shift. The company was out of stock of my item so I was only able to get a refund rather than a replacement.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;You should NOT have to pay for your items. I'm sure BR and UPS have insurance for this type of situation. Only scenario I can imagine where you would have to pay is if you have made numerous similar claims so they think you are scamming them. &#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;This happened to me with Nordstrom, recently. They immediately refunded me, as unfortunately the item had sold out in the correct size and color so I couldn't get a replacement. BR should be able to do the same if they can't send you replacements. The package never did turn up, as far as I knew, so I suspected it was misdelivered (possibly stolen, as I live in a building with 60 or so apartments).

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Not this but they lost my son's clotting factor shipped from the pharmacy and worth a gazillion bucks. We kept making a fuss and eventually found out enough that it was delivered to some other town in a neighboring state and signed for by a random person and opened. They then eventually collected it and delivered it to us but since the box was opened pharmacy told us not to use it and delivered a fresh boxful.&#038;nbsp; &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I also once ordered some shirts for my son and they were misdelivered to a house a block away and that person contacted them and they were re-delivered.&#038;nbsp; I also did quite a bit of calling and complaining. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;More recently, I had ordered some tee shirts from Walmart ship to store. &#060;br /&#062;There was a standoff between the store shipping and the delivery.&#038;nbsp; UPS would only deliver at a certain time and the store refused to open the shipping department. Finally got straightened out after many phone calls to Walmart, UPS and calls between them.&#038;nbsp; Never tried that again.  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-biggrin icon-emoticon-biggrin "></span>  &#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hi all, I ordered some tops from BR and had a delivery notice say they were delivered, but nothing at the door! I think they must have delivered to the wrong address, as it was literally only a matter of minutes between when they say they delivered and when I checked the door :-(&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Has anyone had this happen, and did you get resolution? I'm so upset and am worried I'll be out $200 :/
