And it's a nickname that won't cause you to cringe later. Years ago, a dear friend of mine took to calling her baby bump Tater, then as the pregnancy progressed, she realized with some justifiable fear that that &nbsp;nickname, which all her friends and relatives were calling the soon-to-be-born child, just might stick and follow her kid through school. So she worked hard to train all of us to drop it.
