JJill has a pair of slim-leg white denim jeans with a higher rise. They sit just below the waist. Although I'm not a fan of their clothes, I did try these on and liked the fit. They have a little bit of stretch to them and didn't seem as much like "mom" jeans as the NYDJ's.

http://www.jjill.com/jjillonli.....&sk=M

I think I'm going to try on the BR ones next after reading the comments.

Sarah, please let us know how the BR one's work. I'd like to try them as well as I've been wearing my white jeans more than I anticipated this spring and want to get a second pair.

That's the best way to have to get rid of clothes...shrinking out of them =)

Thanks for the responses! I will definitely give the BR jeans a whirl. I had some Levis straight jeans that I wore last year, but I shrank out of them.

I saw Club Monaco white jeans in the new Lucky mag. Not sure of the fit but they seemed like a straight leg. Last year I found some at Ann Taylor Loft but it was so random that they fit!

Patience - what are you trying to say about the elastic panel? Is there a little one on the way?

I bought the BR ones too and am quite pleased for the price. (I plan to have them converted to an elastic panel when the time comes) The back rise is quite high. The front rise is a mid rise on me. More pricey-- check out James jeans. They have them at Barney's in the Domain.

Have you checked Bluefly, Sarah? Maybe they'll get more later in the season?

Last year I got COH Ava in white denim (sale, yay). The rise is not terribly high, but it's doable since I wore them with long tops.

I saw some white jeans at my Macys (7s and Joes), but mostly boot cut. We used to have lousy denim selections, and I'm very surprised they made it into my neck of the woods. So hopefully we'll see more white denim across the board?

I've been looking for white straight jeans or clamdiggers myself and these seem like a good option for lower price points:
Straight:
http://us.levi.com/product/ind.....71.3103792

They have skinnies too but the ones that come in white seem to have lower rise than this one which is more of a mid rise at about 8.5".

I like those BR ones too. Thanks marianne!

I got these, and they are doing well so far:
http://bananarepublic.gap.com/.....pid=626628

I also tried on M+O ones - I think they would work better for curvier body, but the rise is fairly low. The quality is nice, though.

The one's that come to my mind are the JCrew white matchstick skinny jeans. I was going to get a pair, but the 33" inseam wasn't cutting it for my long legs.

I'm sure that some of the premium lines have a white skinny jean. Have you looked at COH? Joe's? Etc.?

I'm sure that you'll find something fabulous.

In the summer I prefer to wear clams or skirts, but sometimes it's nice to have a pant option for work, such as white jeans. I have a pair, but I think the wider leg looks silly with flat sandals (not to mention it wouldn't be ppl).
Does anyone have any ideas of where to look for white straight or skinny jeans? I prefer a mid to higher rise. The ones I've seen lately seem to be an ankle pant, only come in a lower rise, or are made by Not Your Daughter's Jeans. I've checked Nordstrom, Macys, Express, etc.
Thank you!
