They do not bother my bunion at all. I do have narrowish feet aside from the bunion, but I have a full length powerstep insole in them and there is still plenty of room for my feet and thick socks. My calves are 15.5 and there is plenty of room to tuck in pants. The soles are nice and supportive, far more comfy than most rubber rain boots I've tried. </p> <p>I've been wearing them in the snow too, and the traction is quite good.
