Hmmm. I'm confused. I have a client who wears a triple WWW shoe and she fits into the Kamik no problem.

I think I just realized the problem - Angie, I think you suggested boots with a wide calf (which those ones all have) rather than a wide foot (which is what I need).

I'd still love suggestions. Maybe I should start a new thread about this?

The Clark, Kamik, and Sperry rain boots are narrower than the Hunters. Bummer.

So I'm still looking - any suggestions for rain boots that come in a wide version?

OK, I just ordered one pair of ALL of the boots Angie suggested. We're going to have ourselves a little boot showdown.

San, that's a good suggestion. Thanks.

Diana, fantastic! Sounds like our feet are somewhat similar. I'm definitely going to try them.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I have the sperry ones that Angie linked (mine are blue gingham, but I really like the leopard ones!), and I love them! They do not bother my bunion at all. I do have narrowish feet aside from the bunion, but I have a full length powerstep insole in them and there is still plenty of room for my feet and thick socks. My calves are 15.5 and there is plenty of room to tuck in pants. The soles are nice and supportive, far more comfy than most rubber rain boots I've tried.

I've been wearing them in the snow too, and the traction is quite good. There is a nice soft fleece lining so they are pretty warm too.

Ooooh, those all look super cute! They don't officially come in wide widths, do you know if they happen to run wide?

Angie, so far just the basic Hunter Original Gloss. I thought it would be an easy decision since it seems like Hunters are the most recommended ones, but they are too narrow for my bunions. Now I'm a big discouraged and overwhelmed because I want to find something quickly, and I don't have a lot of time to shop in the next couple months (tons of work, job interviews, blah blah blah). I would be sooooo grateful if you have any suggestions.

I checked with my cobbler, and the Hunter rain boots I got can't be stretched.

So I'm looking for rubber rain boots that come in wide widths to accommodate my bunions. Ideally I'd like a pair with a fairly tall shaft and that will last for a long time. Any suggestions?
