I like Mac eyeshadows. I usually buy them in a neutral color (brown or honey tones), but they are really good quality. They contain a lot of pigment, so you don't usually have to use much and they last a long time. Mac lipstick is good too. I have one of their Viva Glam lipsticks. It's a really gorgeous shade of deep ruby pink. I love lipstick--talk about a (relatively) cheap pick-me-up.

I don't need to use an eyebrow pencil, but I've heard good things about Anastasia's.

Angie, which Lancome mascara do you use?

Lovely Ana! I too adore Smashbox's blush and use Lancôme’s mascara. I like Mac and Nars lipstick as well as Clinique’s black honey. I also use Anastasia’s brow pencil to fill in my brows. It takes precisely 2 minutes from start to finish.

I love the natural look and wear it pretty much all the time (no fancy dates for me), and like Nicole and Angie, I love Clinique's Black Honey lipstick--I'm actually wearing it right now! It really is universally flattering, no matter your coloring. Another lipstick I like is Origin's "Rain and Shine" line. It's really sheer, and it has a minty feel on your lips, which is really nice in the summer. My favorite color is Sparkling Punch (a pinky peach color), but of course find one that suits your coloring.

If you need more coverage for a foundation than tinted moisturizer, I highly recommend Bare Minerals. I bought a kit 2 years ago, and I just love it! It's the only foundation I've been able to stick to for a long time, because most other ones get so greasy here in the south, I can't stand the feel of it on my face. I also have very sensitive skin--BM is super light and very natural looking, and won't irritate any skin conditions you may have.

For blush I just LOVE Smashbox's "O Glow." It is a gel that you rub on your cheeks (you only need a little bit) and it works with your body heat to produce a really natural looking blush. They have a gloss as well called, "O Gloss," which works the same way. My friend loves the gloss, I think it's okay. I love the blush though. It's kind of expensive ($24, I think), but like I said, you only need a little bit.

For a mascara, I like Benefit's "Bad Gal Lash." The formula is really smooth and adds volume to lashes. The only caveat is that it is not waterproof. I haven't had a problem with it "traveling" (I don't rub my eyes), but I'll probably switch to a WP formula for summer.

You can go to Sephora or Ulta and try these products out before buying, if you'd like. If one isn't close by, some major departments stores carry these lines as well.

These are great suggestions ladies! I love subtle make-up. The makeover shows always seem to overdo the whole make-up aspect of the style renewal. It’s a pity.

Angie turned me on to Clinique Black Honey (Is that the right name Angie?) It's a liptstick (which I NEVER wore prior to trying this). It's just perfect!

I recently bought Stila's convertible color in Peony, which is a nice subtle shade on my pale, pale, skin. I also bought their brown mascara. With a bit of gloss or balm and traceless, you should be good to go. I like to add a bit of pop to my lips. My color of spring: manhunt by Nars (which is actually quite sheer!) narscosmetics.com

I use Prescriptives "Traceless" too and Lori actually recommended it to me. It’s more of tinted moisturizer and works beautifully if you want very little coverage.

Benefit has something called, "Eye Bright," which is a pencil, but you only use a little bit right around the tear duct of your eyes. It really makes you look more awake and refreshed. I use it if I don't get enough sleep the night before. Here's a link:

http://www.sephora.com/browse/.....yId=C10339

And here's a link to some tips on eye make-up from the make up artist on What Not to Wear. Step 1 should be enough, just swipe on some mascara afterwards:

Hi, I would like to find a product for my eyes that make me look awake, refreshed etc. like a creme/lotion without glitter effect. Also, a tinted moisturizer to make me "glow" without looking "glittery" .....Any ideas? there are so many product lines and products that I am completely overwhelmed! Thanks!
