It;s called a legging jean, but it's a fine black cord (so soft) that is a cotton/elasterell. I love their fine-wale velvety stretch cords, especially in "weekend" cut which is jeans-style. I've also got several pairs of the "essentials" cut which, as a standard trouser style, sits at normal waistline and a little fuller cut, but still reasonably slim.<br /> I think the height you are, you'll want the regular length even tho' you'll maybe want to hem up slightly unless you wear heels. Petite is likely just a smidge too short. And they also have "ankle" length. I'm 5'4" 130 lb so regular size 8 in both cuts is perfect for me with slight hem adjustment. I have 2 pairs of NR cords from previous years, and just bought 3 more in black, charcoal and sangria (plum) a few weeks ago when they were on sale for - gasp! - $20 a pair!</p> <p>Unfortunately, you may have missed the boat for this year as I see there are none online right now, but definitely keep them in mind for next year. Or some stores might still have a few pairs.
