Yeah, the white one is a little sheer, but i have these camis from Target that I love and don't mind layering with because they are so thin - I find they help "smooth me out" a little and I really liked the ruching on the tee for concealing any lumps and bumps, which can be hard to find. So I would recommend planning to layer a cami with the white one for sure - you are right, if that bothers you then not the shirt for you! The v neck isn't too low on me, definitely no cleavage, but I am a d cup so could be lower if you are smaller bit a cami would take care of that. I am a size 4/6 and the small is perfect on me.
