I have one very similar to the one Janet posted, bought at Canadian Tire. It works OK, but doesn't really save time, just convenience really since you can steam vertically and don't have to fuss with a board. It doesn't do as good a job as ironing, but it is good or little last minute refreshes.

Oh, I've had the Steamfast one in Kristin's rec for awhile. Embarrassingly enough, I haven't used it. But my BF has and he said it worked OK.

Here is another reco:
http://www.alreadypretty.com/2.....ve-20.html

I bought the Jiffy steamer and like it, but it takes a lot to get me to pull it out and actually use it.

I have a Shark Press & Refresh, which does a pretty good job and takes up relatively little space to store. I don't use it a ton, but it sure comes in handy for getting creases out or freshening up something that needs a little de-wrinkling without a full ironing.

Here's a link. I think I found mine at Bed Bath & Beyond.

I tried a big hose on a stand type thing, with a tank you had to refill. Too much trouble to use and too bulky to store...I returned it.

I'd love to find an easy to use, handheld steamer...small enough to hold and not too heavy. Any recs?

And do they work? I just want something to smooth wrinkles out of folded sweaters and things like that...I'm not expecting it to replace ironing completely.
