In the picture it looks like the band on the bottom pulls in to make the bottom edge narrower, but it really doesn't do that. The cut is very flattering, a little fullness around the middle so it's not clingy but not too full to look messy. I'm small busted, so I'm not sure how this would fit you but I did find it in the store, so you might want to go try it on. There were a lot of acrylics out there that fit your criteria though. I know how frustrating shopping for sweater dresses can be, because they have to work for you just the way they are--they can't be easily altered. Since you're petite, I wonder if you would have luck looking in juniors?? V-neck. Well, anything lower cut, really. I'm slim, but I have a large chest and therefore, cannot wear anything cut too high. (2.) Long sleeves or even 3/4 length sleeves. (3.) Wool or cashmere or even better, a combination of the two. Nothing too thin or clingy. Can be fairly short (leaning towards tunic) because I'm shorter and I plan to wear it with leggings/tights. (4.) Preferably in a grey color. No black. (5.) Preferably not above $150.
