I was recently shopping for glasses and noticed lots of straight, high, bridges which I thought were oddly assertive! I think starting with the sunglasses is fine, the lenses do help with that middle distance of the dashboard. Just be patient and let the brain do all the work it needs to do to adjust. I have reading glasses for when I am sitting down to read for an extended period of time. I used an older pair and had the lenses put in as a ‘test’. Both are beautiful on you.</p> <p>Now I have the most terrible eyesight - but very adaptable eyes. My eyes tolerate contact lenses brilliantly. My optometrist has recently moved me to one eye dealing with short-sightedness and the other with the closer print issues. After about 30 seconds, my eyes adapted. I have progressive lenses in my glasses and not a single issue. FWIW, I never had any trouble adjusting to progressives, pretty much instant adjustment. That being said, I am much more comfortable reading and in front of a computer screen using my Rx reading glasses.</p> <p>I need to join in the glasses search as well. Have had my Rx for a few months, know I can't see with what I have, but hate the search for specs with nose pads that can accommodate my Rx and aren't too large for my face. I don't need them much for computer work and reading (YET), but they will be super helpful for things like driving and being able to see my GPS at the same time, or shopping, where I want to be able to see in the distance but not have to take my glasses off to look at a label. The green frames are $130 less than the others, but I don't mind paying more for the best eyeglass frames, since I wear them nearly every day.
