DHs PhD hopefully means a job soon and therefore a bigger budget (depending on the large mortgage equivalent student loans). That said, I'm not planning to translate that to more shopping. Since we're 3 for now in a small house, I truly have no extra space. I'm also hoping to move to part time, self employment, work from home, or working outside- so will not be buying a bunch of office wear anymore.</p> <p>Goal 1 is to buy 25 or less pieces, including clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories but not wardrobe basics. Since I set myself up well with classic neutrals this year, I can do F5P for statements, splurges, expirements. A few wardrobe essentials need replacing, but in general my wardrobe will be 1 in 1 out.</p> <p>Next goal is to be more polished/put together/ classy- and less chaotic. Building my complements and shrinking my color scheme helped a lot, but I need to focus more and grooming and clothing care. I'm planning a closet edit for pieces in poor condition that don't create wardrobe holes.</p> <p>Silouette- I'm more interested in wide full length pants and longer skirts, but keeping a variety of silouettes in neutrals, especially black.</p> <p>Colors- black, browns from beige to chocolate (camel especially), rust/ "desert colors", burgundy, dark greens (pine/olive), Small amounts of teal, aubergine, salmon, orange- but not planning to add more. I'm considering adding a little greenery/peridot, possibly mustard for early spring. Texture much more than print. </p> <p>Another goal is expanding my complements- beige, burgundy, chocolate- especially footwear. Possibly exploring hats and belts more, which I started this year.</p> <p>Finally- building my winter gear, especially "post swim cozy" since new pools are opening These probably won't be counted in my 25.</p> <p>Thanks for reading! </p>
