I think you might need longer shorts. Those are more flop proof.

I think if you try the shorts, tights and boots in the same colour it will create a long leg line and slouch boots sounds like a good plan x

RoseandJoan - I like about 1 - 2 inches above the knee OR short. Mid-thigh is about the worst sometimes because of how my legs are shaped. When I tried these in the store (but didn't get them) I was liking how the size 10 sat on my hips but it looked way too big in the body, but the shorter length of the 8 though it sat higher on the waist, was more flattering. I think the slouchy boots may be the key. Or some sort of tall boot.

Rute - that is what I think is probably going to be the case. I think the idea pair for me would not have those pleats but we will see.

I've not decided if I'm going to get them yet...going to get a few more experts to weigh in.

I think it requires thin legs and slim hips, even with dark opaque tights and boots, but you can always try and see how do you feel.

My friend Joanne is a reasonably petite with athletic legs and she looks amazing in shorts and mini skirts. Are you happy wearing a shorter skirt Agrace because the proportions will be quite similar? Slouch boots with the shorts may also elongate the leg line.

Post pics when you receive them.

As I said on the blog post in the comments, I've got my eye on these: http://tinyurl.com/ykfbz3u

I notice the model has long, thin legs. I do not I'd still like to give these a try. I tried them on in the store and wasn't blown over at all - but I didn't have tall boots on, etc. The question is....I'm an hourglass with more muscular legs. Am I better off staying away from this look? I know pictures would help but I don't own them yet. I'm just curious in theory if this is a look better reserved for those with long legs?

Thank you for your thoughts!
