When they do wear off, they seem to come off funny and leave a line around the edges. I know they keep trying with these formulas, but frankly, I just don't think they are perfect yet.</p> <p>Although I do not have a red lipstick by NARS, I find that his lipsticks wear really well and don't come off all at once, particularly those with less shine.<br /> I have two red lipsticks by Julie Hewitt and they seem to stay on really well, even through eating and drinking. They don't dry my lips out and seem to wear off uniformly. I have another semi-red by MAC and that wore pretty well, too, but I don't think it lasted as long as the Julie Hewitt. </p> <p>Another great option is to use a red lip stain. It will pigment your lips so even if the product seems to wear off the color will still be there. They have liquids and creams... I have found it really stays on for me IF I let the color totally dry before applying the gloss. You can reapply gloss as often as you like.
