I also looked more at 30 yr olds and upwards (London is crawling with students on school tours!)</p> <p>Today was sunny, and cool, so I kept my eye open for colour, but there wasn't a lot. If there is a uniform, it is skinny trousers with heeled booties, and a black leather moto jacket or black skirt (pencil or short (kilt or flirty.full), black tights, black flats or booties, and moto or trench. I did see 2 green ( emerald) trenches, and one green leather moto jacket. There was a bit of cobalt, two coral outfits (the only coloured jeans I saw). </p> <p>Zipper detailing, and studs are still big on shoes, purses, and leather jackets...but very luxe looking, more gold (!) vs silver. I did see metal detail on Shoes (heels and toe caps). </p> <p>Zebra (black and white) and leopard still in evidence. Black, grey, white, cobalt, and red in stores, and MORE of the unusual olive/ turquoise combination.</p> <p>BTW, spent a lot of time in shoe stores due to DH's quest (won't go into that here). Booties, oxfords, the smoking slipper, and over the knee boots with elastic back half. Somber fall colours. Some platform court shoes, but no other platform shoes. Docs, of course. No real strong trend in casual shoes. Very few wedge sneakers...most in the basement or on sale racks. </p> <p>Take this with a grain of salt...it is only one city, and one persons perspective. </p>
