Shorn at the nape, and back of head, with length curving to mid cheek at front and tapered towards the ear, but choppy vs sassoonesque. (Soft and with movement, does not appear heavily dressed with styling product.)</p> <p>Hope that helps.</p> <p>BTW at or below the knee skirts in the Harrods displays of Channel, Gucci, and Prada! Didn't know if I would be allowed to take pics in the store, so didn't chance it. Two of the displays were black and white, Channel being a heavy nubbly weave that read as grey from a distance but was black and cream threads. The other display was olive and dark turquoise. Shape of skirts was pencil or trumpet. However, cobalt is still big, and one window display featured 'two' cobalt pencil skirts. They were teamed up with rock chic statement T's, short jacket (moto and bomber)' ankle booties, nude legs.</p> <p>A few more windows. London is all about commuting on foot and people wear sensible shoes. There is always lots of dark. I'm usually the only one wearing something bright in London, NYC and Israel. </p> <p>Although night fashion is very different to day fashion in London. Lots more colour and hectic combinations. DH's search for shoes has sidetracked me a bit, but I am keeping my eyes peeled for street style. </p> <p>Black reign supreme, as do skinnies, booties, and moto jackets. Trenches short and long ( but mostly above the knee) in Black and Tan. Converse still big, but I've seen some of the bright sport shoes too, neon orange with purple and green, etc.</p> <p>Long hair parted deep in one side, but with some curl. Shorter angled bobs (chin length) ironed straight. Dark hair, think mocha, not goth, or bright (like Angie!). Crops with over long bangs . </p> <p>I did see one woman ( in the gallery district below Jermyn St.) in full on Marc Jacobs from fall 2012 complete with oversize hat. She was an older woman (60's?) and she looked amazing!</p> <p>Mens store windows more interesting.</p> <p>PS: really liked the chunky sweaters ( jumpers) in Selfridges but we are on our way to Harrods after a bite to eat. </p>
