I’ve been kind of bored of my jeans options since it’s all I can wear with my foot right now, and I won’t wear my more distressed ones to work. I figured dark, even washed straight leg jeans were a wardrobe hole I could fill. </p> <p>I got these at LOFT. I never know what to do with the fabric tie - I understand how to tie it so it doesn’t stick out. I know in theory but am clumsy with my hands and can’t do it in practice. So I will remove it more often than not. </p> <p>Anyway, figured I’d mention these is case anyone is looking for a current silhouette that’s not too OTT or distressed. Even wash dark jeans can be hard to find. The fit is great it my usual LOFT size of 32. </p> <p>The tee is also nice - I needed to replace some of my at home tees, which were in an in loft able fabric or looking worn. (My apartment is too warm in the winter for sleeves, so these will see immediate use). It fit me so well, I got two. </p> <p>I used to over-shop at LOFT and ended up with too many tops and dresses in poor fabrics, and too many sweaters. I steer clear of those items nowadays but it’s still worth a look-in for me for items like these. LOFT and AT jeans and pants often fit me better than other brands.</p> <p>ETA - these are the usual not quite cropped length on me. I’m 5’4 with relatively long legs. I will hold off on thoughts of hemming for now. I like to decide after a couple of wears on most cases. </p>
