It's probably not solid rubber--it would be too heavy. When I have worn all the way through mine, there is a hollow waffle structured rubber in the center. They make this weird hollow clunking sound when my heel strikes a hard floor. It's almost as if the little heel part is hollow, although it looks like solid rubber. Any thoughts?
