I really like the look of the Campers and am glad they worked for you! I got a pair of loafer clogs a couple of years ago. I was craving loafers, but the style had often proved problematic for me--tight enough to stay on meant they were uncomfortably tight, and loose enough to feel comfortable, they wouldn't stay on. I do have a couple of other pairs of loafers now that work pretty well. But my loafer clogs are the comfiest of the lot.

It’s weird how the Campers look clunkier (my style!) IRL than in the stock photo. I decided that what with inflation and Camper$ price point that I would insert a quarter instead of a penny. No more penny loafers!

@Runcarla and April: I have worn clogs, platforms, and flatforms for so many years that I am fairly careful where I step and haven’t (yet) twisted an ankle. Famous last words. . .

I love to look at your footwear, Donna, but the height of the platforms freaks me out! I’m sure I would turn an ankle! LOL!

@Jenny H: I also love my heeled Crocs and to a lesser extent (because they sometimes hurt) my Dr. Scholl's clogs. Note that Crocs can fit differently from style to style.

I don't currently have any mules but would love some for the times in my life for when I'm going inside and outside with great frequency (I live in a shoes-off household, and mules are so much easier for that!). I appreciate your reviews.

I hope the Campers end up working well for you should you keep them!

I somehow got it in my head that I wanted loafers for my flat triangle shaped feet that are wide in front with bunions and have teeny tiny heels in back. This meant mules to eliminate the heel problem.

Jessica Simpson: Cute on the foot but heavy. Length was TTS and wide enough but needs a higher volume foot. I’m sure I would kick them off by accident.

Sorels: These started me down my rabbit hole. I’m thinking my feet and Sorel do not align.

Campers: Usually Campers are too narrow for me. These fit in my regular size, are plenty wide and were on sale. Pretty sure I am keeping them.

Pliner slingbacks. Part of NAS. Regular size was too small. Sometimes the angle of the sling doesn’t quite work due to my tiny heel which was true with these. Even sized up they were slightly narrow for me.

Not shown: TOMS loafer mules which are part of NAS. My regular size was too small. After re-ordering I decided the style just isn’t for me.

FWIW: I just noticed on the tongue of a pair of Jessica Simpson sneakers I ordered that her Size 7 is a 37.5, not the usual 37.
