I still have no idea how I ended up with all of them. I also have a cropped cardigan that's the exact same color! That skirt is one of my first purchases and still probably my favorite. Greetje, the black skirt is tricky! It's a true midi length, and even on me can feel overwhelming. (I'm 5'9".) This is one of the best combinations, with the sweater covering the waist. The other two dresses are both knits, but seamed as if they're not. I think that's why the fit works so well. harmonica, you are so right! The green coat is really good for flared skirts. It's funny you should mention the updo. I found <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stylebistro.com/The+Best+Hairstyles+for+Heart-Shaped+Faces/articles">an article</a> that suggested <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stylebistro.com/The+Best+Hairstyles+for+Heart-Shaped+Faces/articles/nWn_E1I9knQ/Sarah+Hyland+Long+Hair+Face+Framing+Layers">a "voluminous bun or ponytail"</a> for updos on faces like mine.  I was just clipping it up out of the wind, but it looks like the right effect. It would be best with high heels but most of those I can't wear at work. (Too much distance walking.) Aww, Suz, thank you. I'm glad the moniker is working. Bijou, skirts and dresses must come naturally! I've always worn them. Though I'm pretty particular about what I wear; lots of cuts and designs I never consider. Vix, I never thought of that! Alassë, that eShakti dress has been a real favorite lately; I've been wearing it about once a week unless it's too cold. And I really lucked out with the color matching in #4. Every single piece (including the green suede belt) was bought totally separately over a period of years. Good eye, Brooklyn! It is the dress. I'm so glad I went with the silver embroidery; it feels very me. I have a leaning to the romantic and this one works perfectly for me. Sara L., I'm a big fan of flared skirts. They're fun to wear and easy to fit, and can transcend most seasons. I like your ideas, Tisa. The green coat would work very well with the sage skirt. I love blending greens - they play so nicely together! Thank you, SarahF! The dress in #6 was one of my biggest winners from 2016. I wear it a lot. JAileen, the pink orchid pin is actually plastic. Gasp! Not bakelite; it's a later, lighter plastic, almost translucent, with a pearly finish. Good quality, from when plastic was the great new thing. Although quite large, it's light enough to not damage a blouse. I have matching earrings, but they're screw back and I have difficulty adjusting those right. They also hide in my hair.
