My DD recently turned 9 and it is such a fun age. I agree that they will do most of these "events" themselves, and their planning almost always outlasts them (they fall asleep at some point). And I want to add that I don't blame her brother, either! He does not intend to be anywhere near the girlie slumber party.</p>
