Neat that the Karen Kane ones at Bloomie's have a built-in "cami" layer so the V doesn't go too deep.

I would say the sizes are tts. I size up to a medium sometimes because even though my shoulders are very small, my chest is not and I don’t like a really body con fit. You would probably wear a small and you might enjoy their dresses too. They are so comfortable and travel beautifully.

Lynn, thank you. Is this it? That's EXACTLY the wrap neck that can work for me! Lots of neck coverage and a shallow V. Well done!

Ha ha, I'm the opposite and like the elastic bottom. I usually shy away from this style because I find it overwhelming and sloppy looking on me, since I have narrow shoulders. But I found this one at Madewell last year, and it works pretty well. I usually wear a lacy black bralette under it to avoid exposing too much cleavage, because the top can really gape under the right circumstances.

Nice, Shevia! I don't think you have particularly wide shoulders.
Another person who looks good in this type of top is kellygirl.

For some reason, the sleevless ones seem a lot more doable.

Lisa P, agreed that the streamlined versions are an easier wear and fit. It's tricky. The right wrap-front top will come your way and you'll love it! I will too.

Suntiger and Marilyn, YES. An elastic hem is a bit of a mare.

The ones with elastic at the bottom never work for me. The top part looks fantastic but the elasticized bottom creates an undesirable pouf of fabric....at least on me. Looks good from the front but terrible from the side.

I'm drawn to the Rag and Bone ones with the straight bottom and grommet tie.

Ah, I see. Thank you. I find this type of blouse rarely fits, and is pretty unflattering on me - adding visual bulk in front. Getting the waist/hip to fit without the top half being huge and staying put on my shoulders is also a trick . ( I don't carry extra weight around my torso - just below my waist . ) That said, I do really like the Rag & Bone ones above , but at over $500 Cdn, I'll admire them from afar Thank you for taking the time to answer here and to post pictures - I do appreciate it !

Lisa P, you asked for examples in the blog post yesterday, so I thought it easiest to show you this way. These are wrap-front tops, or drape-front tops.

Very fluid and surrender the waist

They have architectural appeal

Good look for those who are short-waisted and/or want to conceal midsection bits

They can overwhelm a small frame and narrow shoulders, and slide around the body

Fab or broader shoulders

You almost always need to size down

This is Shevia's favourite style of blouse, and the wears it with the best of them.

I like the concept, but can't find one to fit or stay put. I've had two that looked fab as long as I didn't move. Had them altered to fit better too. They still slid around my narrow shoulders until the cows came home - Eventually, I will have one that fits well when I move....

Hope that helps you and others.
