I confirmed that even if they ordered boots for me and had them delivered to the store, I would have to pay up front. If I didn't like them, then only a store credit, or an exchange. They’re very pretty, although there is a bit of discolouration on one some that bears consideration. The fit is more narrow than I had hoped. Not the same last as the leopard boot. </p> <p>I always knew this would be an occasion shoe for me so perfect walk all day comfort isn’t the goal. It was to fill the gap in my somewhat utilitarian comfort-based footwear capsule. </p> <p>With shipping I paid around $60 CAD for these so it’s easier to accept them as a limited use shoe. Even a bit tight they will be more comfortable than pumps would be. </p> <p>I’ve tried them in here with a white H&amp;M blazer that also arrived today and grabbed one of my few skirts to see how bad the skin sandwich might be! Could be solved with cream trouser socks I’m sure. </p> <p>Because these were deep sale items I can’t get a refund but if I decide not to keep I think I could return for credit (less shipping) and try again.
