I just bought a pair of Quince pajamas in linen. As much as I loved linen, I was a bit worried that it would feel a little bit scratchy for PJs. Not to worry! I love going to sleep with them keeps me both cool and warm just as needed

I am very pleased for you! Sheets are so important - we spend a third of our life in them, like the old commercial said. You might also look at Garnet Hill, as they have several styles of linen sheets.

Angie, I admit, I was worried this would be scratchy linen too!! Surprisingly, it has been anything but. I do like cotton, just not sheets. The new duvet cover I purchased last autumn is 100% cotton. (I only wish it was heavier fabric; one of the cats put a small cut in it with their nails.) Bought it for the color; it is the most perfect warm deep berry plum. It's a very soft cotton and I think I would try cotton like that for sheets. Bingo! It's really hard troubleshooting with bed sharing, I so agree. My husband actually doesn't care. He would probably sleep on polyester microfiber despite running hot ha! But I cannot stand a damp, clammy sleep experience. He doesn't understand why I spent $150 on one set of sheets. Me? I get into bed every night with relish and delight, excited to sleep on the darn sheets haha!

Carol, this is soft linen. I really mean that. I was expecting it to be a bit rough or scratchy. It's not. Happy to share the link if you want to try them. They really remind me of a heavy pair of flannel sheets without the flannel nap. It's the best comparison I can make.

Jaileen, ooo!! I will definitely keep these in mind for the future. "The day I change the sheets, I go to bed early to luxuriate in them. This is my luxury - not a fancy house, fancy car, fancy clothes - just these sheets." I so, so agree! That's what I love to do too. I wake up and sometimes I luxuriate in the sheets.

My favorite sheets are Macy’s Hotel Collection. I always hang them on the clothesline to dry. I check the weather forecast for the week, to see which day is best to dry them. They are so smooth but also crisp. The day I change the sheets, I go to bed early to luxuriate in them. This is my luxury - not a fancy house, fancy car, fancy clothes - just these sheets. :)

Wow, great idea. I am just hot when I sleep all the time, and that is on cotton. I would love linen, if just for another feel.

Fascinating! Glad you've found a perfect solution, Ket! It can be hard to satisfy the needs of two people sharing a bed. Excellent troubleshooting (Sateen in sheets can absolutely be problematic - I get it).

Personally, I have bad experiences with linen sheets. I was at a fantastic B&B in Antwerp where the bed was made up in linen sheets. It was awful. Scratchy, and very uncomfortable. It made my skin red every morning. I could not sleep :(

Hubs and I are high thread count 100% cotton sheet lovers. Percale works. Parachute, Ralph Lauren, and West Elm make good cottons sheets. Our pillow cases are 100% silk. They all launder extremely well too.

Linen and I have rarely crossed paths. Too stiff. Too earthy. Too much body, not enough drape. I had one pair of chocolate linen cropped wide- leg "gauchos" in the early 2000s. (Remember when cropped everything was the rage, especially jersey gaucho pants?) They were from Old Navy and I really loved them. But otherwise, I haven't loved linen.

Until now.

Sheets have been a hard thing for me and Hubs. My husband runs hot and I need a lot of temperature regulation. My body temp can run from cold to warm to sweaty in one night. Not every night, but on occasion, I do experience a lot of variation.

Cotton is either too rough or too. Last year's set of organic cotton sheets were sateen weave. (Didn't realize it until it was too late.) The sateen weave left us both clammy. Then the sheets tore last month. Percale honestly hasn't been that much better.

Bamboo was a great disappointment. Not at all as "cool" or temp regulating as promised. The set we had frayed at the corner pocket seams after only 6 months.

Enter linen.

I had never considered linen sheets. I kept researching which sheet material to try next. Linen kept coming up everywhere. Found an organic set.

I am in LOVE! I never wake up overly warm or cold. And we are both dry upon waking. The texture of this particular brand is soft in a toothy way. It's like heavyweight flannel fabric had all of the flannel flocking rubbed off. Too early to tell how they'll hold up to wear and use. But still, very, very happy.

I have no plans to wear linen, but I'm forever converted to sleeping on linen!
