Use waterproofing spray and don’t commute on foot with them. Otherwise, they’ll ruin instantly. I have actually banned suede shoes from my wardrobe because of this reason and they are impossible to clean. BUT, Aquatalia makes a fabulous waterproof suede shoe that is dinkum puddle-resistant.
