I think you've sort of nailed it with the cardigan. I like that I can button it just under the bust (as opposed to mid waist where it does me no favours.). Similarly, with the cognac jacket, I could fasten it at the neck and let it fall open in a V from there. It fakes at shape/structure. I'll check out the sleeve tips!!</p> <p>So right, <b>Lana</b>. I'm such a terrible judge of how things 'fit' because I'm a bit proportionately non-conventional (thick waist and broad across the back). I think they are probably tts based on how they fit me...</p> <p>I tend to start with the "Medium" rack at Marshalls and go up or down as needed. The medium in this jacket looked and felt pretty good until I moved my arms -- it pulled quite a bit across the back. Not unusual for me, so I think for most people, not an issue.&nbsp;</p> <p>I hope you'll keep us posted about whether it works out for you! In case the comparison helps, my Jones jacket is a medium.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>ETA </b>- I just checked out the green -- very pretty. I think that white jacket will be a workhorse.<b></p> <p>AJ</b> -- your comment about the pants really made me think. They're the same pant in different sizes (and colours, obv!). I started out shopping for lightweight pants in a light colour. The lighter (greenish grey) pair are a colour I really like and they fit me better in the waist but are definitely roomy in the hip. The navy pair are smaller and a bit snugger in the waist, but better in the hip and seat. This is the story of my life.&nbsp;I am still hoping to find the grey ones in a smaller size, but no luck yet. :-)</p> <p>I keep saying I don't want to buy navy because it's hard to match and I just don't see building up a significant navy capsule. Except, navy is what's available. I don’t mind the slouch on the olive at all — I just got a very oversized white corduroy jacket while out in Durango, and it’s a trend I like for being able to layer underneath. Not everything needs to be fitted! Sometimes I especially like a roomy jacket over a hoodie and with narrow, more fitted pants.
