A way to “test” a colour is to think would it fit into a “typical” scene that contained the colour palette.<br /> A light summer image might be hydrangeas in Maine; it’s not icicles (winter) that’s too shiny, dark and cold!<br /> My 2c on colours<br /> -T-shirt looks fresh and light; personally I like it on you (but it’s far more important you like it :))<br /> -jacket looks a bit wintry? If you can fold the fabric and see black in the shadow, that’s winter<br /> -trousers are fab but maybe a soft summer base colour? I’ve often wished I had a white denim jacket, but never quite gone ahead with it as stark white doesn’t do me any favors. Actually that reminds me I do have a cream jacket though, which I should try with this outfit…. Glad you like the light summer palette. I always assumed I wasn’t light ENOUGH for that palette… but maybe I am. I am just randomly trying out all the palettes!<br /> I like this outfit, love the colours.<br /> The tee is just slightly more boxy/bulky than I would like with this little jacket and the wide jeans, but I’m hoping it’s still ok in terms of silhouette.<br /> On a side note, because of its bulkiness (but not TOO bulky) this tee goes really well with leggings, it’s the perfect shape to balance a tight pair of pants.<br /> I will likely have my jacket going on and off all day long, so I try to make sure the outfit works with and without jacket!<br /> The shoes I wondered if a chunky white sneaker would be better, however I kind of liked the pop of champagne metallic in the earrings and these shoes together…. Hmmm.<br /> Any feedback? Advice? Thanks as always! Btw I’m liking this light summer palette </p>
