Thinking of how these would bookend with your hair, I am inclined to go for the moss/ecru. I have seen similar here but only in store not on people so I do t know if this is a fringe trend. But if you like them.... How would you wear them?.

How were you thinking of wearing them? They've got the Victorian thing going. I find the brightness of white a little disturbing, but also recognize cool when I see it. I think it's easier to be English and wear white shoes than to be American and wear white shoes.

White shoes can be tough. I love mine. I wore them a lot this summer. However, they definitely took some getting used to. If you've owned lots of pairs of white shoes and you know exactly how these would fit into your wardrobe, or if this is a price point that lets you experiment without feeling too bad if it doesn't work out, then I think you should go for white/ecru. On the other hand, if you haven't owned white shoes recently, or these are expensive enough that they'll have to really work for you, then I think you should go with your original plan. I feel like you have to be absolutely in love with the shoes--in white--in order to make them work. Mine took a lot of thinking and a lot of mixing up my standard clothes pairings to make work. They still aren't super functional in my wardrobe. But I love them. They are beautiful and comfortable and they look fabulous with jeans. All that is enough for me to make it work and feel good about them.

I think these look great in the moss colour - but it depends which one works with your wardrobe. They have a nice masculine/feminine vibe.

I have been considering these booties but have not pulled the trigger yet. Not sure what color to purchase then I read Angie's post. i am leaning towards the white/ecru color. Do you think they will be a fringe item? The other color I am considering are the moss/ecru. All input is much appreciated.
