I prefer the Vicar, because the lower shaft seems better proportioned and I prefer the darker sole, for reasons others have mentioned - it suits your vibe, bookends your hair, and for some reason the lighter sole gives me a "nursing shoe" vibe. FWIW, I bought the Vicar 2 seasons ago (see finds, below) and I love them. But I also like the shaft height better and the tie- in if dark sole with your hair and likely dark colors in your prints abd solids. Or thinking, not only the items you have now but what direction. Do you want to follow where the Lex may direct wardrobe purchases or the Vicar.<br /> You’re showing boots with very summery outfits with lighter colors , but would you wear them that way usually, or lots, or do you have fall dresses and skirts ? And agree about pants- how they work with cropped or full lengths. Might see which is more versatile.<br /> I understand keeping both, but not sure that really helps your wardrobe, unless one is more fab with dresses and one more with pants and you are on a lighter footwear journey.<br /> Last , but should be first- comfort. The monotone looks more polished, less RATE... sleeker.</p> <p>If this is a color of footwear you will wear frequently, the two are different enough that the Lex would earn its keep, I think. </p>
