Love these washes for you. I only have non-stretch Levis although reading through the comments I'm wondering if I should have been air drying them. They seem to be getting shorter and tighter - or it's me--haha. Sizing is all over the map--that's the only thing that drives me crazy about the brand.

Thanks for the review! I always forget about Levi’s but I used to wear them a lot and should check them out more often. Good to know direct from the store is fast.

I just bought the new “501 90’s Jean” and indeed they fit just like the jeans I wore in the 90s! Somehow exactly my shape. Very exciting. The only problem is that the dye (faded black wash) has a strong chemical smell. I had a pair of Gap jeans with the same odor and I eventually had to donate them because I’m particularly sensitive to it. But I like these a lot so I’ll try to make it work.

I’ve been a Levi’s gal since my teens, and that is way back. I’ve tried the women’s jeans but I always go back to the mens jeans. I prefer deeper pockets and 100 percent cotton, usually 501s or 505s. Oddly the mens sizing is more consistent. If anyone needs none see thru white jeans for summer you can beat Levi’s, though they may be too hot for some parts of the county.

I have 2 pairs of Levi’s and a pair of denim shorts. All are low stretch. Or maybe no stretch. And I love them, but I did find the sizing a little inconsistent, and really felt it was important to try the different cuts in different sizes.
And I love that deconstructed jacket. Murph11 —how fab that your made your own! Love that even more than the anthro one.

I am kind of a Levi's girl. Most of mine are 100% cotton, but I have had several pairs of 514 with 2% elastin(spell?) and they do not seem to stretch out.
I also air dry them and find them snuggest after a wash and best on day 3 and there after, but not necessarily bagged out.
Murph11 would be fun to see you DIY trucker.
I have thought about doing that but have not yet been brave enough!

Robin-I like the rise. It's a higher mid rise I would say.

JAileen- I remember when Levi's didn't have stretch, either. I remember when you had to buy them big and then shrink them to fit!

Murph- that's giving me inspiration!

I have that jacket and love it-- it's so soft.

I did alter it by removing the waistband, cuffs and collar after seeing this Anthropologie + Levis version... can't help myself!

Thanks for the info! I like my jeans with stretch and find that some get baggy and some don't. Not sure what the difference might be. How is the rise on these?

I’m a fan and all my jeans are Levi’s. I hang jeans to dry after washing, and other than a little natural fading of colour, they are ‘like new’.

I recently ordered a pair of jeans and a denim jacket from the Levi's online store. Shipping was super fast- overnight!
I got the 414 classic straight in Oahu Morning Dew wash. This is from their sustainable line. They fit great, even the length is good and I really like the color. They are super soft, too. These do have some stretch to them, and I am concerned that might cause them to bag out during wear, but that's my only complaint.
I also ordered the Original Trucker Jacket in Soft as Butter. This is also from their Sustainable line.
https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/.....65a86a4d55
Reviews said it ran small and to size up, so I did. I probably could have stayed with the size according to the size chart, especially since this does have some stretch to it, but this will allow me to wear it over bulkier things in the winter. It's a nice jacket- very classic.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.
