I usually suffer from the gap at the back and tried these for that reason. That part was ok but they seemed TOO roomy in the thigh and dare I say gave me the dreaded ' front wedgie'. The rise certainly was not low but not too high either. I know some women love them but sadly I'm not one of them. The front is not high, but not super low either. My torso is short-ish if that helps. I am 5'4. The Jr's Levis are lower than both.
