I have a long rise. You must have a good tailor.</p> <p>I tried something similar with denim shorts a couple of summers ago. Sized up 2 sizes to get a loose thigh fit then had the waist taken in. It didn’t work out (they look kind of tulip-y). So it was an expensive fail. I tried on a pair of the icons and prefer them, but they didn’t have a wash I wanted. The only difference is the taper in the leg, as far as I could tell.</p> <p>I like the leg taper on the icons. </p> <p>My next experiment will be the Everlane Cheeky Straights, which show a 10” waist/hip difference in their garment measurements.
