They have some pretty contemporary looking denim in their "Line 8" and "Made &amp; Crafted" collections, and the current 500 series (501, 501CT, 505C) is quite nice if you can figure out your size. </p> <p>The LL Bean 1912 denim is pretty nice, as is Eddie Bauer's denim -- which is quite similar. The styles are not cutting edge but not terrible either, if their sizing "gets" you. I've just been jeans shopping, and pretty much every pair of jeans I saw were essentially jeggings, even if not labeled as such. Even premium brands had incredibly thin, stretchy fabric, and when I tried them on they looked cheaper than the 3 year old Gap skinnies I was wearing. </p> <p>Update: LOFT curvy skinnies fit the bill (plus, no gap at the waist). The rise is a little higher than I'd like, but I can live with that.&nbsp;</p>
