I needed to read this today, as I've been wondering if you can ever be satisfied with your closet and how long it takes to get there.

I honestly think that this spring is the first season I have ever not been inspired by anything . Seriously. I have lots of clothes in my closet, Spring is a short and unpredictable season, and I'm getting style fatigue for certain looks that are in every store. Even the shoe stores are showing repeats of styles from many of the bigger brands that have run for the past few years. It's a good feeling though and I'm not agitated about it at all. I went through the cropped and kick flares phase last summer, and still have them to wear this year, but I'm already getting tired of seeing them at every turn . I'm going to rely on tried and true pieces that flatter. And if I don't buy anything new this spring? More money in my bank account Health and fitness are taking priority over clothes for me at the moment.

You are in a good place if you are satisfied with what you own presently. Sounds like you have developed an excellent buying plan.

Many of the new styles being promoted for spring don't appeal to me at all--I've been through similar styles at least twice before. Culottes--probably 3 or 4 times.

I have cut down on frivolous buying to some degree--I made a list of what I need at the beginning of February--but admit I get distracted whether shopping online or in the stores.

Like some of you have stated, you are doing less shipping this spring season. I am in that situation too. For one thing, I am finding it more difficult to find the two additional pairs of footwear I think will get a fair amount of wear and last a few seasons. looking for the perfect pair of block heel pumps, grey or a rusty brown with 1 1/2 to 2 inch heels. I am still searching for the right pair of cut out booties or something without open toes and at least 1 1/4 inch heel.

Also I find I am tiring of rolled jeans, so want ankle or crops. So new white ones have to be more perfect length, thus harder to find.

However, this is the first season in a while that I really am more satisfied with what I have. I fairly much have something to wear to most of my planned events in the next two months, and am fairly sure I will not be running out to find something new if something unexpected comes up. This is partly due to, thanks to YLF, my frivalous buying has ceased and my purchases, for the most part, have been better.

The few replacements I purchased so far have been successful, and the one new pair of lace up flats are the one new spring trend I had to get. As for the other footwear trends not much for me there.
