AAhh! Great, now you hate me! I'm flattered.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'll work on finding longer tops, but mostly it seems I need to work on my confidence! Your gentle encouragement is what I needed to show me the right track. It just goes to show that it's good to get opinions other than your own.

OK, at the risk of sounding catty...I hate you. Not really, but you have a really nice butt in those jeans! You are stunning all over really. I love the sweater jacket too.

I think it's normal for tops to ride up as you move about your day. Just a little tug back down once in a while is enough. If you find it annoying, then try it without a cami and see if makes a difference.

LOVE the jacket on you! Perfect. I also think you look great in those jeans. I don't know about the top, but I would take Angie's advice.

You ARE hyper critical of yourself dear girl! The jeans look outstanding. You need longer tops, as Shell suggested. This will cut the pocket size in half.

The cardigan looks great too! Keeper.

There is something off about the empire cut top. It’s too short in the waist and length. Pretty colour, though.

Thanks, Lannie and Shell! I do think the jeans fit - but the pockets seem too big or maybe too wide for me? Or am I being hypercritical? I feel that if the pockets were smaller it would be more flattering, but what do you think?

Your butt doesn't look wide or droopy in those jeans, they fit really well! The sweater is also really cute. Empire-waist tops can be tricky when it comes to riding up over the bust, but I still think that top is a keeper. It's not like it's riding up right over the bustline, it's just a bit out of place. I don't know if there's any way to prevent it riding up... if anyone knows, fill me in!

i think the sweater looks great! not too boxy at all.

the jeans look fine - i dont think they make you look "droopy" or anything if you're concerned about that area, you could try a slightly longer top. it might break up the area you consider wide.

I've been taking photos this week, and wanted to know what you all thought on a few things! First of all, I would love to duplicate my jeans (my only pair - the ones I wore earlier), but I don't care for how my butt looks... I feel wide and drooped, and I know I'm not either of those things!!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/2.....680419840/
What should I look for in back pockets when I go denim shopping?

My second question: I love this top, but it often rides up on my cami and looks like this:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/2.....677830397/
instead of this:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/2.....165410353/
would a synthetic, silk, or 'slippery' cami solve this? Is it too short in the chest/torso for me?
Lastly, I love this navy knit jacket - but does it work for my body type? I went over Angie's post on swing jackets and pear shapes but I'm not certain if this jacket's width and legth are correct.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/2.....679588681/

Thank you!
