I'm going to advocate off post. Land's End has a 40% off footwear promo running right now and they have a leopard slipper here:
http://www.landsend.com/pp/wom.....tml?sku_0=::LEO

It is $94, so would be around $56. That could let you try out a leopard flat for not too much. Hmmm, though, probably around the same price as the Aerosoles ones.

However, having recommended those, I have to say this. I was anti-leopard until a few years ago. They were a little too bold for me. But. I wanted a pointy toe pair of leopard flats to wear with skinny jeans. I found and bought them. I haven't looked back since then. I love them. I wear them all the time. It was a really nice way to introduce pattern and a take a step toward a bolder style. I now have two leopard pattern shoes, a belt and a cardigan. I think that if you spend the money on these, you will find that you love them and it was a good investment. So you could go either way.

One word of warning, if you plan to wear these with pants know that they won't last as long. Calf hair breaks off. If you wear pants with the flats, eventually the back heel area will go bald. Not as painful with a $60 pair of shoes as with a $200 pair of shoes.

i prefer 1. I like the clarity and contrast. Actually, I like them in the order posted. The Aerosoles look blurred and the color seems bleh. But you need to see them IRL, of course!

Well, having been down this road, some of these will look so different in real life. Some have a "print" look to them and others are more dimensional if that makes sense. I think the quality of the Sam Edelman will help them appear richer and for that matter the Kate's, too, so they would get my vote.

Munro American has well-made shoes in a multitude of sizes, but I have to say that their leopard pattern is one of the drabbest I've seen IRL and not at all rich or attractive. Their slipper flat has a hidden wedge which I find very cool, but why or why is their pattern so dead?

What would you wear them with? In my opinion, #1 is more suitable for skirts than the rest. Aside from that, I also like the look of #1 and #3 best. Comfort is up to you:)

i agree with you, i like 1 & 3 the best. that said, i have a pair of kate spade flats, and they are very comfortable, but the bottom is leather. i think that you can take shoes to a cobbler and have them put rubber on the bottom of leather shoes.

Leopard shoes are way out of my comfort zone for patterns. I really want to add a pair to my wardrobe, however, as it sounds like they would spice thing sup considerably.

However, comfort is critical. Below are the 4 pairs I think are fashionable (one recommended by Angie!)

#1. Kate Spade - I love these, no idea how comfy her shoes are

#2. Munro American - These tend to be very comfy shoes, but not sure they are as nice and #1 and #3

#3. Same Edelman - love the shoes, but the bottom looks slippery. I work for a manufacturer, and we have hard floors throughout the building, making leather bottom shoes treacherous!

#4. Aerosoles - They sort of look like the Sam Edelman ones, but they have a nice grippy sole.

My credit card is getting a bit of a work out with purchases and exchanges, so I would like to try to order just one or two pairs to try.
