I am nuts about boots with dresses but because of the white sole these seem more like sneakers to me. Not sophisticated enough for the dress. I think it depends on whether you like the whole sneakers with dress look - because it’s going in that direction. Rollies have become really big here in NZ, I think they may be Australian? With many pairs to choose from in the last several years, in my fave shoe shop locally, I've still not bought a pair. Even though I've liked many of the uppers a lot and the prices are reasonable. I think they seem too casual for my work style but not soft enough for weekend running around. I wonder if these don't quite look like you.<br /> But you know your style much better than I do, so I think trying to style them with your outfits a good plan. In that they DON'T really "go together", you like them for the contrast. I like it in principle, but when I try it myself it just feels like I'm TTH.</p> <p>On the other hand, I would wear those leopard booties with skirts in a heartbeat. I would do it with a slim fit on the lower body, like a pencil or tube skirt or a sheath dress. What do you guys think? </p> <p>My hesitations are that they fall in a weird zone of casualness with the white soles, and I don't think the shape/height is as versatile as my old boots. They're great with jeans, but don't work as well with my dresses or cropped pants, though this could be a getting-used-to-it thing. &nbsp;On the other hand... I wear a lot of jeans in the winter, so maybe that's not even an issue.</p>
