That's not hugely important and animal print itself is so great for combining light and dark, so it's hard to go wrong. But for summer I am wear more specific lighter colored shorts,skirts and pants, cream, khaki's--and I have pale legs so I don't want a big contrast. Whereas with jeans almost anything goes.
