They could easily be mistaken as simply reflecting light oddly or even being corroded, KWIM? If they are small - as earrings by nature tend to be - it would be difficult for someone to even tell they had an intentional print or design unless they specifically looked for it. Just essential :} I've got 3 pairs of pyramid studs, dusted silver, dusted brass, and dusted copper. I use them as my "neutral" earrings when I wear statement necklaces, hehe. I think a black pair would be edgier than these, but I'd wear these cuties in a heartbeat. From a distance, I can imagine them looking quite conservative.
