They took it off at the shoe and extended it there so that the closure was still neat... It really worked very well for her. I have done the contrary of having them shortened. Not every cobbler will do this, but I found a great cobbler by calling Neiman Marcus ( at the time the only department store near us ) and they recommended someone who was fantastic. Was it a success? </p>
